Want to buy my wife a new likejacket. She's of the opinion that the one we bought 6 years ago that has no crotch straps, no spray hood and a cheap after market light will do just fine for the next 6 years. I'm of the opinion however that now that we cross the North Sea rather than just coastal sail and that we sail at night and in some nasty weather, she needs a better one! I bought a Spinlock and love it but I can see why as a 'pink lady' she doesn't. Her build is normal but she has quite a short back so I was worried whether the Kru type would be OK. Any suggestions?

BTW, yes we always clip on to prevent falling in anyway.

HI, speaking as a female....I bought the Kru sports pro this year and find it really comfortable - it also scored very highly in the YM test of lifejackets. Couldnt get on with the Spinlock one at all... IMO not designed for ladies! Hope this helps.
