On March 22nd, My snapdragon 23 lift keel will arrive at Ullswater. It is being moored on swinging moorings at Euesmere. Has anybody got experience of the best launch site please?

Ullswater yacht club, Ullswater marine and Fairfield Marina (which is part of Ullswater caravan and camping Park) - All have good slips

What the road access like to Ullswater YC currently. It was very sad seeing Pooley Bridge without a bridge and any means to get across to the hotel// coffee shop when we were (nearly) there last week. Must be a nightmare for the locals and businesses

You can't get there from the west side, you will need to access it from Penrith through Tirril.

I keep my boat at Ullswater Marine so am more familiar with their facilities and services than the others slips at Fairfield and the yacht club.
Access is straightforward for a boat of your size and there is someone on site every weekday and probably weekends in March.
They launch with a tractor over a shingle slip and there is a jetty at the side to tie up to.
