There was some discussion about flotilla companies a few weeks ago.

I posted about my low cost but low value flotilla with Sailing Holidays in a leaking and mouldy boat.

I appreciate the law of the market dictates that you get what you pay for but there must be other, better low cost, operators. Does anyone have any recommendations for a low cost high value flotilla, in preferably well maintained boats that aren't going to break down ?

i thought setsail were good (greece).
and if you are willing to book at short notice you may get a good discount as the person you speak to in the office actually runs the company.

I really enjoyed my experience with Nielsen in Nidri, Greece. First week learning the ropes was on a fairly tatty boat which was due to be replaced next year. It was safe and reliable however. Second week was on a nice boat in good condition. The cost was about average. Competition in chartering is fairly stiff so you tend get what you pay for IMHO.
