The dilemma: we both wanted to go sailing, but HWMO needed some new clothes.

The solution: Got out on the early tide, sailed round from Dell Quay to Gunwharf Quay, shopped, had lunch, sailed back for evening high water.

We had a great day (especially the sail back), and I feel unbearably smug for having had the idea in the first place.

Well done Sue. Women always have the best ideas!
Saw you there over Easter, enjoying yourselves, while we are still out of the water in the boat yard slaving away. Still, launching on Sunday. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"women always have the best ideas"?

OK then answer this.........
Dearheart's mother is ailing and lives half way between us and daughter
Sunday lunch arranged at daughter's home
Dearheart "I know, you go and get mummy and bring her back here while I get ready"
Me "Why don't I wait for you and pick her up on the way?"
Dearheart "No it's better this way"
?????????????????????????????

Yours Smugly
Briani

She obviously wants to do something while you aren't around. Anyone can see that. Sending you off to a known place will allow her to accurately predict the time she has to herself. Obvious /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thing is, should I have told you???
