Had some good ones, but most are just plain disappointing.
However all is not lost for on my doorstep have just discovered the best of all, a full English at the Passagehouse in Topsham. Sat there yesterday right by the river having the best brekkie I can remember, loads of good bacon, great sausages, field mushroom, black pudding, eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes, toast and a pot of tea all for under £6! The sun was shining, it was warm, the tide was high and all was well with the world. Perfect.

Being a fat-b****d .... I keep my Full English restricted to special occasions ....

Main one of course being on the boat ! There is nothing better than the aroma of bacon across the marina / moorings .... To sit out in that fresh sea-air with a good plate-full of bangers, beans, bacon, eggs, toast ..... etc. Set's up the day ......

I have had all sorts of people sail on my boats ... some say - No full brekkie for me Nige ... That does not last long ... once that plate is handed out to 'em !! Have yet to have crew on my boat that doesn't succumb to a good brekkie !!

Whatever you do, DO NOT go for the breakfasts at the Whistlestop Cafe at the station in Woodbridge. For some reason some friends go there (why, when the caravan is so good?). I tried the Full Veggie Breakfast yesterday, thinking my previous samples must've been bad examples. Ugh, it was dreadful. We all left a fair chunk of the meal.

Dave's Cafe at the Ferry Dock is really the only option for a damn fine fry-up, and you can choose between a full breakfast, your own selection of the above's component parts, or something simple like a bacon or sausage sandwich.

For slightly more delicate, posher fair the little eatery in the Tidemill buildings is not half bad at all, either - scrambled eggs on toast with a glass of iced orange juice is a fine accompaniment to watching the tide come in over the mud.

Yup, exactly! The van's the only place to go.

And the Tidemill? Nooo! The food's not made there, just heated up, and the coffee's terrible- they try to look all homey and authentic etc, but it's out of a dispenser machine and nasty. They're stuck up too- sneered at an acquaintance asking for a bacon sandwich!

Oooooops! Sorry about that! But you only get a brekkie by personal invite, that is of course if you manage to get chef out of bed!!

Got to be the Fisherman's Cafe in Poole, just up the High Street from the quay. Always used to be my favourite, but not the same since it changed hands a couple of years back. Quite like Weatherspoons on the quay these days.

Weymouth, not sure what you have in mind, but usually go to Sharky's.
 
Ramsgate: Turn right out of the marina East entrance take 1st lane on left walk up the steps, cafe on right near the top.

Dover: Turn left out of marina head towards Folkestone to next rounabout, turn left towards cruise line berth. Over bridge turn left pub on left great all day breakfast washed down with several pints for those bad weather held in port days, lunch and dinners also served. (There is a short cut through the marina that entails scrambling up a wharf wall)There is also a cafe on the right at the T junction. both visible from the bridge.
