Are there any powerboat owners, berthing in Ipswich Yacht Haven, that can recommend an effective type of antifoul for this particular situation please.

Hi
we are berthed in Neptune(opposite Haven) been using international interspeed ultra on our motorboat,no problems to date,not sure what speed this would be good for if you are looking to use it on a fast powerboat,our max speed is 30 kts,hope this helps.

Subject has been discussed a lot in previous threads. A search here for 'antifoul' brings many hits.
February issue of MBM pg. 74 has a thorough 8-month test & comparison of 12 antifoulings. International Uno Cruiser is 'Best Buy' up to 25 knots.
However some brands are not tested, so if your desired make is eg. "EU 45 Antifoul" / Marclear you'll have to look elsewhere.
Any test or advice should be seen a guidance as that actual location, use of boat and even weather (sunlight and comfortable water temp helps growth) will affect the results. Talking to people in your berthing area will be valuable.
INHO you should use a type that is designed for your use and area. Going for a pro antifoul just because it works for commercial vessels most likely would fail (unless your boat is constantly on the move..)
