Berths in South of France - available

On the River Rhone end of the Canal du Rhone du Sete is Beaucaire. One of four communities in Gard which have harbours. Quote from the latest "Beaucaire Terre d' Argence"
-" Un port de plaisance est a l'etude pour Fourques, ceux de Vallabregues et de Bellegarde seront doubles."
Dont have any more info other than we have had our boat here for just over a year now and it is rather a pleasent place.

Beaucaire always looks very busy and lots of boats there - are there many berths available?

There is always space somewhere.
The new port as well as the increase in the other two - when it happens - will provide some more.
