In 2011 we took a berth in the Helford for the summer and used that as a base. This coming year we would like a berth in France to use for the summer - say May to August. Nice it if were handy for ferry or Ryanair and cost is an issue. Boat is a 35 ft fin which makes me lean towards the atlantic coast rather than the channel..

Suggestions? Contact phone nos?

As Gorf has pointed out, Morlaix will be one of the least expensive options. It offers perfect shelter and a nice town with most facilities. On the downside it is 5 miles inland and you will no doubt touch the mud a few times till you get into the swing of it.
The new marina at Roscoff looks a long way from being finished, though it may offer some limited optoions for the 2012 season and open fully in '13. It will probably be expensive, on the Trebeurden scale.

Brest or Camaret?

There used to be a couple of British blokes in Camaret with moorings to let there and, as far as I remember, they offered transport to/from Brest airport (although I don't know if Ryanair go there)

FlyBe does fly to Brest - from Portsmouth and Birmingham.

Think you meant Southampton - Pompey airport shut 1970s or 80s
