Berth Condensation

Can anyone advise what is the best syestem to reduce condensation on the underside of berth cushions. Everyone at the Boat Show says their system is the best !

We use the matting that is rather like a 30mm thick 3M Scouring Pad. It is very light, easy to cut to shape and works well.

I don't know if it's the best but it's certainly the most cost-effective.

Use the foil+polystyrene sheet you can buy from most DIY sheds, used for insulating the outside wall radiators. It costs about £8 to insulate a 6-berth boat.

I have used carpet, which is effective, thick carpet, without foam backing! But Medman has the right idea, the mat stuff is excellent and allows the bunk to breath. Also make sure there are lots of holes beneath the bunk to allow more air to circulate, helps with any system you use.
