This is the power bus behind the circuit breaker panel on my Bene 36. The third red wire from the left is the feed to the fridge. It has a dodgy high-resistance connection which results in only about 5v going to the fridge and warm beer :-(

All I want to do is to re-make the connection. The wire seems just to push in, but I can't see how to get it out! There are no obvious grub screws or clips as you would expect and if you tug at the 'housing' it feels as if it would break before letting go.

Anyone familiar with these who could enlighten me?

You push a small screwdrifer in to the oblong hole where you can see shiny metal, the wire should then come out, however if there is hi resistance there may be a chance that the connection is heat shagged and it may take a bit of fiddling, it takes quite a bit of pressure to move the metal strip by the way
