Beneteau has announced it will be cutting up to 1390 jobs, one sixth of its workforc, due to the economic downturn caused by the pandemic. It will be closing, selling or putting into hibernation 5 of its 24 manufacturing sites in France, Slovenia and the USA. So far this year sales are down 16 to 18%. Beneteau expects this crisis to be as bad as the 2008-2009 financial crisis. Its boatbuilding activities (12 brands) are worst hit, but its motorhome branch is also suffering.

Think you will find that is Mobile Homes. They make a lot near us and a common sight being delivered, or used to be. Noticably fewer, presumable because the camp sites are less in use this year.

Watched an item about this on the local TV news.
The 'collapse' of the charter market was blamed.
