Beneteau First 25.7s drying out

I’m purchasing a Beneteau First 25.7s lift keel and will keeping it in the Poole area & keen to explore some of the lesser depths - has anyone got any experience of how they behave if they sit on the mud resting on the rudders? Considering trying to source the drying legs as it has hull fittings to accommodate - but if it can take to the odd bit of muck in Poole harbour on an overnight without causing upset I could do without.

The ruders are not designed to sit on them you must lift them before taking the ground

Get the rudders up and the boat will be fine just sat on the mud.

Nice boats by the way. Very quick.

Ah yes of course - thanks both much obliged. Yep we're pretty excited about it to say the least. It will be in the main a family boat - have at last left the petrol side that I had to live in for a while and back to sailing...Really looking fwd to getting stuck back in to a sport that I loved and setting my kids out on that path.
