I am given to understand that Beneteau is in the process of moving their dealership from Dickies to Ancasta. It is not clear what this will mean for Dickies but some of us may be able to guess given the recent past.
Its common knowledge that Dickies went bust and reopened with a phoenix company Id guess what the op was saying was that anyone who is dealing with Dickies should tread carefully as the loss of a big dealership could be the start of more problemsHi, as this is your first post, and it could be construed as potentially damaging for Dickies, can you expand on what you mean or are insinuating here?
Thanks

personally I think its more important to look out for other forum members than stay quiet at the risk of damaging a company with a dubious past
only my opinion of course but I hate seeing joe public losing money in these situations
Its not quite like that though, is it? Dickies have only lost the dealership on the S coast according to the MBM news story but have retained the dealership for the NW and Wales. Also the story suggests that Dickies are 'helping' Ancasta to set up the S coast dealership, whatever that might mean, but I'm guessing that means that Dickies will still get a cut of the margin on any sales in return for transferring staff and the customer database. Its no surprise though if Beneteau are looking to distance themselves a bit from the Dickies phoenix newco because it can't be doing their brand credibility much good and I guess that Dickies haven't got the resources to invest in stock boats. Good move for Ancasta thoughI am given to understand that Beneteau is in the process of moving their dealership from Dickies to Ancasta.
