We’ve had our Beneteau Antares 8 for just over a year. We usually troll along at about 7 or 8 kn enjoying the views and it uses around 8 litres an hour at that speed. It feels really stable when the sea gets up a bit and It’s great for weekends but we feel it’s too small for longer breaks and we want the option of carrying 4 adults plus clothes, food etc. We’ve looked at a few other manufacturers, including Jenneau 925 and Prestige 32 but think we’d be happier sticking with the Beneteau and going for twin engines, either 980 or 1080. Does anyone have any tips to share or opinions on either of these? We'll probably be looking to part exchange ours if anyone knows of one for sale.
