Hi,

I have a Dragonfly 4 Pro with CPT-DV Transom Mount Transducer (..producing readings, DV and depth)

…and Raymarine Axiom 7 DV with 9 pin transducer input and power supply (..for chart, but also provides readings as regards depth and DV)

I also have two through hull transducers one bronze which seems to be connected to panel (upper one in photo), the other one which I followed the cable back to battery is coiled up and not connected to anything - 4 pin connector. Can anybody explain why this is redundant and not connected to anything? it is the lower transducer in the photo.

Thanks in advance, please bear with me as I'm relatively new to this game!

Harry

Any idea what’s on the outside of the hull on the bottom one? Looks like it could be a paddle wheel transducer for speed through the water. If the instrument it attaches to has been removed then it’s redundant, apart from stopping the water coming through the hole....

Your right just checked boat in driveway small paddle wheel. Must have been connected to something before I got it, just spotted a nest of wire cable tied in beside the battery box going nowhere. The panel dash display is like exactly like this Yanmar Control Panel JH Series

Have 7 inch Axiom for chart which I think must be going to the other bronze in hull transducer, also a dragonfly 4 pro with that pencil like transducer sticking out the back at water level on transom.

The boat probably had something like an Autohelm Bidata display at some time. Useful to know speed through the water on a slow boat, not so much on yours.
