Hello to all users. I've just joined the site to see if I can contact anyone who owns or has access to information on a Beneteau Oceanus 373. Mine is a 2004 boat. I bought her in France last year and she is based is Kinsale, Ireland . I'm finding it imposible to get any technical information through the the dealers here in Ireland or the UK. I also tried contacting Beneteau directly -waste of time.
Does anyone own a Beneteau 373 with 40HP Volvo Penta ?
Anyone know where to get good technical info, through owners forums or associations or other groups.
My immediate Questions are:

What is the specification for the Propellar anode. (Fits at the back of the propellar nut.)

The boat had an Eberspacher Heating system fitted. The Burner unit disappeared before I bought the boat. I think it was a D4 Eberspacher but I would like to confirm this before I bight the bullet.

Im Interested in hearing from anyone else with interest in or experience with Beneteau 373's

Best Regards,
Kinsale 373

Welcome to the forums.

There are several Owners Associations that may help you with Ben specific information. BOUK seems the most likely and have a forum.

As for the Eberspächer, a D4 (4 kW) seems about right for that size boat. If the heater is gone but the ducting remains, basically just check the ducting size matches the D4, and if the fuel pump is still there, check the part number on that as well, which should tell you which heater it is for.

Thanks Yngmar,
I think i'm sorted now thanks to Butlertehnik. Thats a good point about the pump. So the pump is specific to the Burner type. Idid'nt know that.
