Beneteau 36cc 2001 correct hydraulic steering oil?

After conducting an examination of the steering system and checking the reservoir I have found that the oil in the system is RED as opposed to the usual golden oil colour of oil. Maybe ATF.
Everything looks good and there have been no issues and as far as I can see, no leaks. However, the reservoir level is just a little low, so wish to top up accordingly.
Anyone confirm the correct oil to use?

I had a 2001 361 up to 2013 when I traded it in for a 41. It’s hydraulic steering used T10 oil. I couldn’t find anything less than 5l even though I only needed a few cc to top-up the reservoir. The brand I bought is clear but it seemed to mix with the original red without problem.

Note of caution, do not overfill the reservoir.

I spoke to the main dealer in Norfolk, forget the name now. he said Dexron, that explains the red colour
