havent seen the fixed keel version, but its plenty roomy in the lift keel version a large open cabin with ring bulkhead enclosed V Berth at the front ( not closed off from the main cabin) and a double berth behind a door under the cockpit. Keel down you'd hardly know there was a lift keel.
Hate to say this but must agree wuth TYCE - I looked at these when considering our next boat and for coastal hopping I think they would be great - I ended up buying its baby brother (21.7).
For passage making, for the sort of money they are, I think there are a lot of more siutable boats IMHO you'd be more comfortable in something with a bit more weight.
With the Bene 27 costing 40K+ there is a whole range of craft that you can choose from - I've just sold a Moody Halberdier for that sort of money that is bomb proof -11m and 10T not everyones choice but it certainly would take you atound the World if that's you thing.
I'm sure others on here will suggest other craft which would be just as suitable.
