Beginners guide video?

Hi there community!

First thread on my behalf, fingers crossed I find some help.

I am desperately looking for a beginners guide (preferablyvideo) on how to operate a motorboat, from the inside. There are plenty of videos on how to drive a boat but I'm struggeling finding one on how everything on the inside works.
I am looking for the basics. We just bought a Four Winns 258 and there is obviously a lot of new things to learn about.
What to do before starting the engine?
How does the batteries and charging work etc etc?
What does all panel switches do?
How does shore power work?
There is an online manual but I tend to learn things a LOT easier when watching, not reading.

Is there anyone out there who knows about a good beginners video on how to operate/learn about a motorboat? I would be extremely thankful for any help in the matter. (And yes, I have searced Youtube a lot. But being Swedish I seem to fill in the wrong search words. A bit frustrating to day the least...)

The best way to learn is the RYA Level 2 Motorboat course. It is fun to do, you can ask questions and you will learn how to handle the boat, not just the switches! There is probably one run near you - just Google.

Besides from that course being more specified on boat handling the closest country where it is held is Germany. Not really worth it I'm afraid.

I want to learn about how to properly use the boat from the inside, not how to drive it. Is there no video showing how to properly start the engine, use shore power, use outlets and switches etc etc?
I searched Youtube and other website but nothing...

You really need to say where you are. People can then offer suggestions relative to your situation.
It seems you are asking for information about operating the boat's systems, rather than actually using the boat.
