Whilst I admire your IOM ambition , a trip to Campbeltown and overnighting alongside there, before back home the next day, would be a good achievement and great fun.
Will you be keeping her in the water at Girvan, or using her as a 'trailer sailer' from there?

Yeah keeping at girvan and towing around (isle of man for example ill perhaps launch from isle of whithorn. Ill suss out finer details when ive got some experience. Might be next year before i tackle something like that. Yeah i thought the same about Cambletown. First ill get acquainted with boat and girvan bay/ailsa craig trips. Get confidence up then tackle some choppier water locally to see what thats like. My mate reckons short of a torpedo or crashing in to rocks my little boat should be fairly unsinkable ?
