My boats having a coming out party on 4 March. Well it gets carried over the threshhold by a big craney thing anyway.
The water wizzy thingies underneath have been getting more worn and weary every year so maybe time to put them out to grass and get some new ones. Cant remember what size they are but there on a P35 with 200hp Volvo muck stiring whatsits.
Any one got a clue at what they might cost and where from. So I'll be ready for the mechanic when he says £1000000000000000000000000. Please.

C & O engineering in Newton Abbot, about £400 each. Ouch!!!

If you take the old ones to them they'll tell you if they're still ok, did this for me, said old one was still good and no need to buy new!!

BTW the size should be on the boss of the props, a bit of cleaning with some emery cloth should find the stamps. Will you be down there when she's lifted out?

Thanks for that invaluble information John. I know it's written on the props, three foot under the water and 300 miles from me. But its not helpfull!! Dont think so John. I was thinking of sending down a brush and tin of paint so you could do it!!
Thanks for the info on prop prices. I'm sure we could weld some together up here for about twenty quid.

I take it from "water whizzy things" you mean the props, and the translation from LJS. Why you buying new, why not get em refurbed. Steel developments do refurbs at reasonable prices, well a hell of a lot less than £400 odd quid for new ones. They do a postal service and can turn'em around in 24 hours nif need be.

Just a thought
