Beeswax ?

I've just been repairing my foresail with a kit containing waxed thread. The kit also has a small block of beeswax.
Sorry to be thick but do I rub the thread over the wax before stitching or rub the wax over the completed stitches or both ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Rub the wax on the thread by pulling the thread through it; you can get small containers for beeswax with notches to run the thread through.

You have to grease the thread before you stitch and not afterwards .
