Hi Guys

Any off you ever been to the above event is it annual or the up and coming event a one off,
Planning to be there anyone fancy it WWYC from fambridge may make a club cuise of it

It's an annual event. Tried to go last year, made the mistake of going on the 2nd night - they ran out of beer on the first night and that was that. Hopefully they'll get a bit more beer in this year!

Hope to be there! Brasso might be out of the yard in the water by then - although I'll probably walk rather than sail down the creek!
 
The chap working on his Etap behind me (between rain showers) said, "At least one consolation about still being in the yard is that I probably wouldn't be sailing in this weather anyway!"

Launch date will probably be 30 or 31 July (lunch time HW).
 
Hi Guys

Booked 6 places today for WWYC so almost looks like a plan, think i will head to Burnham on the Friday evening pick up a R&C mooring and head ashore to the bright lights, then off with the retreating liquid stuff in the morning. Hopefully you guys wont have drained CYC of vital supplies before i get there. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
 
Also hope to be able to attend , just looking for suitable accomodation so will advise soonest . Well it's beer isn't it , got to make the sacrifice really

What a brave chap you are making such a sacrifice, personally i do it in the name of research, its been a life long search for the perfect pint, i am expecting an OBE some time sone for my dedication to this task /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Actually I claim to be carrying out scientific research on sleep deprivation due to over indulgence in amber nectar , it has been claimed that excessive consumption leads to an inability to sleep so the experiments must continue to help the poor sufferers .
At least that's what I tell the drayman when he delivers my daily order anyway
 
Sorry to shuffle off of this one, but our Club has its last gathering on this weekend, and we have not been to a single one this year.

We will be going to the RCYC Pontoon party. Hope you all have a great time..
