Beaulieu Boat Jumble

I went. Did not buy much, and thought that there were fewer traders than two years ago, though just as many car boot sellers. There was some incredible overpriced old tat on sale as well as some good bargains. I saw a Raymarine 60 series wind display, in good nick for just £30.
I did get one bargain, a piece of teak board, cut to an odd shape, but sufficient to make new steps for the boarding ladder with plenty left over, for just £1. If I had gone to the teak sellers and bought new teak for the steps I would have paid £15-£20. Good day out however because I went with two friends.

Yes, thought it would be busier after the cancellation last year. Likewise bought some cheap teak items but little else.
Was after a load of new fenders but as is often the case cheaper on the internet. Nice stroll around though.

I thought it was a lot less crowded than previous years. If you resist the temptation to buy a PBO for £1 on the way in you get one for free when you leave in the afternoon....
As usual loads of overpriced rubbish on sale, but also loads of bargains if you're prepared to hunt them down. With an entry fee a whopping £9.70 you really have to make sure you only buy what you need, and at a good price, to make it worthwhile.

Had a good day out with some complementary tickets. Picked up a Henderson Chimp pump for the dink for 2 quid and a whole load of charts from the RNLI stand to "wallpaper" the understairs lav!!
