bearing and shaft calculators

Would any one out there mind having a quick look at two new/updated calculators on our website? to see if there are any problems in understanding or using them, thanks.

The shaft size calculator tells me I need a 6" shaft - until I increase the horsepower a bit then it drops to 1.25". Something funny there...

But if you select a slightly bigger horse power you'll find the shaft size does indeed drop to 1.25".

Truly something wrong!

We've been using it on larger set ups and it works but there is something funny going on with smaller numbers, although the safety factor agrees by showing a safety factor of over 1000!!

Time to sack the programmer
