So, set off this morning for the Boaty type show at Beale Park which took place over the weekend, a variety of things going on, sun shining, jazz band playing, I could practically hear the Pimms being poured at lunchtime! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was a very british affair, mainly sailing based so not completely my scene, but a very fun day out for the family!

Here are the pics:

So a great day was had by all, finished off with a drink by the river, a traditional cornish pasty and a cornish ice cream

Also a huge thanks to Al Jones and Tina at ATSailing (www.atsailing.com) who made me feel very welcome at the stand, had a great time and have just finished devouring the cookies they were selling in aid of the Cardiomyopathy Association /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Anybody else go?

Excellent pics Chris , had intended to try and make it but I underestimated the time required at the millenium wedding , seems you all had a good time though . By late afternoon today we popped up to see Al and sort out paying for my day skipper course , we'd forgotten he was going to be flogging cookies by then /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif so I'll have to order some later

Oooh you missed out on the cookies, they were amazing! I cant remember if Tina made them herself or not but they were very nice, and lovely and soft as well!

Hi Chris!

It was great to see you on Sunday and I agree it was a fantastic day/weekend at the show.

Heres some of our photos.

These young lads from the Horsham Newfoundland dog display team helped Tina to raise much needed funds for the CMA.
