A while ago this forum welcomed everyone from Lands End to St Davids as being part of the "Bristol Channel Forum".
As far as the great on-going quiz is concerned, are we using the same region or the more limited "official" area delimited by Hartland - Lundy - St Govans to Lavernock - Holms - Sand Point, which would rule out Milford Haven, North Cornwall, Severn Estuary, Cardiff Bay, Bristol etc!

Just so there is no fighting among the contestants /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yeees, OK then (since we've already had q's from Sharpness canal and the legendary Bullo's Pill).

But can I narrow it down to places that a keelboat can get to via tidal waters? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I prompted this discussion a few weeks back and we all agreed sea area Lundy for the forum. It seems illogical to limit the quiz to something smaller. It helps us all learn about places and facts outside our immediate area and broadens cruising horizons. Gloucester seems a good limit in the other direction, as beyond there it's non-tidal.
