BBC radio in Europe

Never heard of them but as the radio is on the same beam as the tv I don't see how the dish could be any smaller than the 80cm dish recommended for S Europe.

I think you are alluding to the WorldSpace system radios. They have a 4 inch dish. The get two different beams of the World Service plus Bloomberg,CNN, WRN and about 40 other EnglishSpeaking radio stations, mainly music.

I have tried to get the BBC to put the Radios 1 to 5 on their spare frequencies without success.

The radios cost £80 plus. The Htachi I use is good and various companies sell it for £150.
