OMC stands for "Outboard Marine Corporation" Went bust some years ago made johnson/Evinrude outboards (since manufactured by Bombardier. They also made inboard outdrives similar to mercruiser , L& J Marine are experts on OMC gear. I have a 1989 Bayliner with OMC 5 ltr (Ford based V8 the old 302 mustang engine I beleive) goes very well .
They built 17ft & 18ft with Force outboard motors and a 22ft with 260HP OMC Cobra sterndrive
17ft was about £6k 18ft about £8k 22ft about £17k all fast boats, driven them all. Strong hulls, flimsey windscreens
