Bayliner 285 SB official width

Hi everybody,

I am buying a Bayliner 285 SB (2010), and the harbour places i can get are 9x3 meters. I know from the internet that the boat is 3.02m wide, which is not good for me That is why i was wondering what was the value written in the booklet, as it is the one that will be taken into account by the master's office to allow me or not to park my boat in a 3m wide place.

If someone having this information would be kind enough to share it, he would save a man

I am not aware of any harbour master getting the tape measure out, so you will probably be ok.

Do they allow for fenders?

In practice, as above, you should be OK but, to be sure, go check / measure your proposed berth before you sign.
