I need one. I know where to get the actual table from but I need the folding bit that attaches to the wheel pedestal, its a Bav 36, 1999 by the way.

Just made one for our boat (admittedly not a Bav).
Cost, so far, about a tenner, including the small tin of satin varnish I bought this morning for £4.95. Nearly finished and even if I say so myself, it looks right smart!
I know this should be on the PBO forum, but I'm feeling a bit smug, as my mate just bought a table from Compass for about £100 plus more for the 'leg'!

Mailspeed Marine sell a Lewmar DIY kit that fit the tables for Bavaria's.
They are a bit pricey as it includes all the bits you need, not just the hinge part to go on the binnacle, approx £100 but it is the the one that Bavaria use.
We did it last year for a Whitlock table that we bought on e bay for a tenner so it was worth it!
If you buy the DIY kit make sure the hinge part is fitted to the sloping face of the pedestal front, not the flat face where you think it would go (and where Peters Opal used to fit them!)otherwise the folding leg will bind on the cockpit sole as you fold the table away and the table will not fully drop.

Noooooooooo, it wont fit an Etap as we have a main sail track just in front of the wheel. But we need one for the Bav in the SoF. (I was waiting for some smart arse to mention that, it would have to be you Ian! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)
