I’m hoping to wake up the batteries in my wind instrument, a Raymarine MN100 2. The batteries were changed by the previous owner, but it’s still showing 0 V. I’m told that if I stick the batteries on 100ma charge from a variable power supply then they will wake up. Reading the instructions to change the batteries It looks like a new seal is normally provided with the new batteries, -some plastic film with sealing compound around the edge. Any recommendations on how to re seal the thing again I’m wondering whether I may be better buying another new battery with the new seal.
