I have 6 X 110ah batteries on board. i have two 913 wind generators and two 80w solar panels running into two regulators, which as far as I can tell charge all 6 batteries
However on board recently the 12v Television cut off due to battery warning on the screen saying battery low.
The battery monitor stated the batteries were all charged.
I've checked all the batteries all have read on my tested 12.7 and 12.8 volts.
Any thoughts on what I'm missing and need to check?
Thanks in advance
Russ

Is the TV plugged into a 12v cigar-type socket or an inverter?

You need to check the voltage at the point where the TV actually connects as it might simply be voltage drop at the cigar socket or inverter due to a poor connection somewhere.

Richard thanks for that, I also forgot to mention that the VHF was on whilst I was out a couple of weeks ago and the low battery warning symbol came up on that aswell.

I wonder if you have a selector switch somewhere that might have dirty connectors? It sounds very much as if there's a dodgy connection and it wouldn't surprise me if it were reasonably close to the battery bank. It's a PITA, but worth checking the resistance of the lines originating at the batteries and working 'backwards' from there.

In that case I would check the individual battery voltages and the voltage at the cigar lighter. They should all be similar and if they are between 12.7 and 12.8 volts there must be a problem with the TV wiring or its voltage detection circuit as I can't see any problem with the batteries or boat wiring unless the problem is that the batteries cannot produce enough current.

Can you switch over the batteries to start the engine or perhaps use a jump lead? If the batteries can produce enough current to turn over the engine then I'm stumped!

I used to have a small inverter running from a 12V cigar lighter type socket and it often beeped to say voltage was low. I think that poor connections and voltage drops are pretty common with these sockets. However, you had a similar problem with your VHF and that's probably wired in, so no socket and it does suggest poor connection further upstream.

Just a matter of working your way out from the battery until you find the poor connection. It's worth having a load on as voltages may well seem OK with no current being drawn.

I had a similar problem a year or two ago and found it was the isolation switches. They hadn't been off for 6-7 months while I was living on board and all that was needed was to flick them on and off several times to provide a quick fix. I never got around to dismantling and cleaning but do flick them on and off every 6-8 weeks.
