Just come down to the boat and the battery is dead ( my fault!)

How long on shore power will it normally take to kick up enough power to get started?

Same happened to me the other week,
And my slow maintenance battery charger wasnt working at all, I bought a new one and it still didnt charge. I had to put my car battery charger on it to boost it and then swap them and it started charging.
Apparanly my batteries were too flat to absorb power etc..
But its fixed now.

30 minutes was enough to get me started.... Sat and ran her for another 30 also on shore power..... Lovely trip to Henley and back.... All fine.... Now on charge.... Phew!

Get yourself ONE OF THESE
Ive just bought one and put it on my shed roof at the allotment . Im keeping the fridge cold , radio on and running led lights and have a fully charged battery every day .

Blimey, small world. Looked at exactly the same one only yesterday and telling myself how much I need one for our Viking 20. Thanks for reminding my wife as she reads these posts as well ;).

I always use to carry a spare battery... you should also preferably do so. And sry friend we can't give you an approximate idea that how much time will it take for your battery to get charged.
