What is the normal way to inflate fenders? Mine are Plastimo brand. I have a football type needle thingy but it is meant for a bicycle pump and at the filling station almost all the air was wasted yet the fenders have not gained their full manly pose.

Advice welcome.

Normal bicycle pump with a needle extension for footballs does the trick. Chandlers stock pumps too but they are really just bicycle pumps.

Most chandleries will sell you a Double-Action Fender Pump for under £10. They don't take too long (particularly if you are just topping up) and it's good exercise anyway.

I have some solex brand inflators that have the same thread as used on car tyres. If you shop around you should find some.

A car tyre 12v inflator or foot pump with your football adapter will also do a job, but don't get over enthusiastic, as its easy to over inflate.
