One of the ony oportunities to get out on the boat earlier this year it was a nice day.

Anyway with the sun shining and a high pressure forecast all looked well, checked the barometer in the morning 1022 ish - by lunchtime it caught my eye at "Stormy" about 995 so me thinks it's gonna blow, blimey it's dropped.

I had an off hand chat with two guys leaving the next morning to sail to Plymouth and advised them of the impending weather doom, they looked at me as if i was daft but were polite enough to just smile, knowing i was daft.

Anyway, yesterday in prep for some autumn sailing i scrubbed the dutyfull, summer stationary sunbeat (due to weddings, illness, work, shopping, house repairs......) clear of three inches of bright purple starling **** defrosted the ice mountain in the fridge and adjusted said instrument hoping it will feel less work pressure, and display the right amount.

Why do things just go wrong all on their own?
