Looking at the WX this weekend, it looks like a SW Gale Force 8 gusting 9 on Sunday on the south and west coasts. Not good.

David, The discrepancy these past few days between what is proffered for inshore waters and the hour by hour data from eg Greenwhich LV is, even by cautious met office standards, totally meaningless. Which tells me that the blocking high and adjacent, drifting, building and collapsing lows and vague funneling effects are beyond the computer modelling used..
It will now blow a storm of Michael Fish proportions,
