Bargains at the Barge

I needed a new Barton winch handle. Tlast time I needed one, about 4 years ago, I got it from Aladdin's Cave, so I headed off to Bursledon and decided to have a look around the Barge while I was there. They had two quite second hand handles, at £30 each /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif so I went to Aladdin's Cave who don't have them any more. I finally found one for £20 at Arthur's in Gosport.

I won't bother with the Barge again.

Yes - I found their prices quite ludicrous. Sometimes as high as new.

I agree, no bargains to be had - not even good value purchases, they seem to have lost the plot.

The trouble is I don't think that type are made any more and that was the last one at Aurthurs.
