At least as a result of this, Nick got the cheap PMRs that he missed out on last time...

Hi, I am sorry that you thought the contents of my shopping basket i.e. flea catcher was unimportant, but you have to remember that it will be to some people /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I for one have experienced fleas in my boat on the River Avon, hence the reason for buying it. You have to remember that there are people from all around the country and abroad who read the forums, we are all different but a lot share the same experiences. You may not have experienced fleas, but in Scotland you get midges which are a pain, I am taking my boat there in August so am getting prepared, remember, you only see what you recognise and you only recognise what you know. e.g. It seems you didn't understand the relevance of a flea catcher to boating, but I do hope this explanation helped /forums/images/icons/wink.gif They were half price by the way, but you need 4 x D cell batteries, or run off 6v.

Re: Leave the poor dear be!

Yes thanks all I am delighted with my purchase and spent last evening wandering around the locality annoying Joanne with my "1 4 for a copy and rubber duck" stuff and look forward to much Solent PMR communication...

Without getting embroiled in all this it is fair to say that I bagged a good deal because of the post.....Duck....take cover...run for it.......

Re: Mitigating circumstances

Perhaps in the light of this, His Honour Judge Hollamby may be persuaded to leave the black cap behind, then?
