Sailing yachts, 36 - 40 feet, NOT in mast main furling.

Anybody have any recommendations, suggestions, experiences?

I have sent queries to four charter companies, then thought to ask here.

Plan is 12 guys, two boats, one week, 22 April.

We have saved yer man's Balearics cruising articles from PBO.

Thanks!

Went last year with Nigel James. (Broker) Actual company was Cruesa Mallorca. They have a wide selection of boats.

Nigel James was excellent. Did everything we need and would be definately be happy to work through him again.

The boat was fine and well equiped. (Ben Oceanis 393) Handover was a little sloppy. Boat was in reasonable order.(Lots of scratching on a blue hull though) They were not too bothered about this when we collected, but were interested when we returned the boat! Having ensured they noted the damage when we collected, this was quickly accepted again. There were a few niggles like no rawlocks on the tender and the echo sounder with a negative correction of 3 meters!

Would use Cruesa again, would just be very carefull on handover to get a full brief and check everything. (Like the echo sounder)

Hope that helps,

Peter
