Bareboat in Solent or nearby

Hi,

A good friend of mine (who now lives abroad) used to own a F/B 43 which now sold.


He is interested in chartering something similar for a couple of weeks in August.


Any clue on where to look for such a beast?

Everyone mentions Sunsail (at Port Solent) round here when talking about hiring - would they have anything useful for your friend?

How can you tell - carpet slippers left out or what?

Tell-tale signs that it's a Broom:

- Stannah Stairlift from bathing platform to command bridge

- Net curtains at all windows (including windscreen)

- Umbrella/walking stick rack amidships

- Baby Blake commode in for'ard WC compartment

- Customised Morse controls that shout "Eh, what"? at you when you alter throttle settings

- Etc

- Etc

Yes, we are still here, and still offer Bareboat Charter on our F37.
I think we are the only charter company offering a range of Motor Cruisers for bareboat charter
