we're off to Barcelona on tuesday to pick up the boat after wintering her there(Contessa26 Carinata) and any info on where not to pull in etc could be useful. Not aiming to go too far , possibly Alicante ish more likely Valencia, only have 3 weeks this time, before it gets too hot. sorry england!..

Torredembara is better than Tarragonna, Pobla Farnals is cheaper than Valencia and still only a 40p bus ride away. Denia can be expensive and so can Javea round the corner, with Calpe worst and often full.

Gandia not too bad, but try and avoid Castellon as in our opion worst place between Barcelona and Valencia. Oropesa can be interesting if you don't mind the walk into town and like trains through the marina at night.

Sitges is very attractive and not that expensive. You'll find marina prices have gone up on average 15% since last year and Spains everday price increase is already higher than last years total price rises.

Enjoy yourself, for we are getting back ther from Gib as soon as business is finished as Gib is TOO expensive.
