Its become a bit of a tradition with us, but we generally try and anchor in Studland for the Banks Arms fireworks on a Saturday close to Nov 5th. Its a cracking evening and they have a huge bonfire, great fireworks and lots of beer. If the weather is not too horible we even sometimes have a quick BBQ on the beach first
Does anyone know the date of this years event?

Could it be a late season forum meet?

As the 5th is a Friday, maybe it will be the 6th

I just called them - and unfortunately they are not holding a display this year
Another tradition gone. I blame Tony Blair, is nothing sacred?

Halloween

Oooh; I very much doubt that our Tone likes Halloween; he's a devout Christian, (like Jimi /forums/images/icons/smile.gif), and I'm sure he disapproves of it strongly. And I bet he doesn't smoke, an' all.

Re: Halloween

Strikes me that with all the things Tony doesn't like, its a wonder that he's got any kids, (Maybe he used a stand in?) /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Mike.
