Afternoon,

Just wondering what epic trips the forum bods have planned over the Bank Holiday??

We have the 'outlaws' down Saturday to Tuesday, so I guess blasting around the Solent and frightening the Mother In Law as much as possible will me my plan....even if the swmbo thinks otherwise....... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Regards Paul.

Probably see you out there then. Planning runs out to Newtown, Needles and Wooton / Ryde. Assuming the weather is OK of course. Pretty much springs and high tide around mid day so late morning to mid afternoon for us. Probably.

Well, if it will stop raining for long enough, to get the davit patch stuck on the dinghy. We'll be off to IOM given half a chance. Regardless of bank holidays. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hopefully going to take the boat out for the first time in the Med and explore the Costa Del Sol by Sea!

Only dayboating though and will be tucked up in Gib every night...

If you do get over to "the rock" Peel is pretty empty at the mo.

You may well be the first formite to stay alongside swanky new pontoons there. Plus being a bank holiday all 3 shops in the city will be open /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I on the other hand will be off to work for the weekend /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Taking the boat over from Ardrossan to her "second home" at Lamlash then plan a couple of trips up to Loch Fyne to take in a bit of "Raggie Action" at the Scottish series -our latest addition to the fleet (Avon 450) is also ready so will need to work out how to get it and the trailer over on the ferry - SWMBO is not keen on towing it - even though its just a big fender /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Down to the Channel Islands, wind looked a bit hairy at the beginning of the week but it now appears to be easing so off we'll go. Hopefully spend two or three weeks down there.

Seeing as we are main sposor of a yacht race on May 31st (our Bank Holiday) thats where we will be. Somebody needs to create a bit if wash /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
