Looks like good weather for the weekend, not much wind but no rain at least.

Where is everyone off to?

I am heading west from Cardiff overnight tonight, probably to Dale first. I have until next Wednesday so got some time to explore.

I delayed departure, leaving at 8am now, hopefully see the bristol pilot cutter race as I go.

Saw the bristol pilot cutters this morning, not much wind for them

I am just passing the end of the Gower, tide is just changing against me though. Can't decide on Caldy or Dale for tonight's anchorage

I was In watchet last night. They reckon there were 40 visiting yachts. Loads left at first gate today. Nice to see it busy

Another bank holiday, looks like a wet one.

I am heading up river on saturday, under the bridges to Sharpness for the first time. Not sure for the rest of the weekend, I was planning to head west but don't fancy anchorages if it's going to be gusty.

I see portishead cruising club are doing a cardiff/watchet trip, and CBC are doing a padstow trip according to their website.

Who else is out and about in the Bristol Channel?
