Would anyone be interested in meeting up with a bunch of Raggies this Bank Holiday at East Cowes Marina?
I've got a thread running in scuttlebut for those who want to invite themselves along. If we get more than 8 boats attending (which looks likely) each boat will get a further nights free berth as a Rally discount.
I'm not sure at this stage how the Dockmaster would want to arrange the berthing with a mix of mobos and sailing boats but it would be nice to get everyone together.
I'm also sorting out a meal in the Lifeboat for the Saturday night.

Cheers

Colin

We have a charter on the Saturday so are unlikely to be able to attend.

As a thought do you think there might be a chance to reciprocate the trip out in a motorboat for sailists thing we did when we all got together in Cowes a couple of years ago? A chance for motor boaters to experience a couple of hours in a sailing boat off Cowes ?

That would be quite a good experience and a chance to swap viewpoints.

Henry :)

Henry, if the winds blowing in the right direction a Sunday jaunt up the Medina into Island Harbour to welcome the new residents might be in order.

James, The weathers going to be cracking that weekend so have a good trip, be good to see you in Poole in sometime. :)

Andy, no Hells Bells this time unfortunately. Have to supply our own fenders.

I'm pretty certain we've enough boats booked in to intital all to a free nights berth. So apart from having the pleasure of seeing me there's another incentive to join us. Is it intital or entital? Some are arriving on Friday, I am to get there for Saturday lunchtime and leave on Monday. I've made a booking at the Lifeboat pub for the Saturday night at 8pm and will keep them updated on numbers.

Cheers

Colin

We now have more than 8 boats booked in so if you do want do join us you'll get a free night at ECM to use I the future or stay on Sunday for free. I phoned the Lifeboat pub last week to book the evening meal and will be calling them again on Thursday to update them on the amount of diners.
It's unlikely that Helen will be able to join me due to our Daughter still needing the care of her Mum after her op, but I have my friend Paul coming and possibly Mick who some of you met at Libs earlier this year.
