Tired of those old UV perished pegs crumbling in your hands?

Bored with trying to deal with rust stains deposited by cheapo wooden pegs?

Embarrassed in front of your boatie neighbours hanging your washing out with 'past their sell by' pegs?

Suffering from mild Tourette's; always needing pegs of the same colour, or in the same order - or banishing GREEN pegs (as I did).

Hey, your problems are over! Here is the answer to the washday maidens prayer:

They are the dogs bollax.

Knowing my luck I'd drop them over the side the first time I used them - think I'll stick to my el cheapo Portuguese wooden ones at 1 euro for a couple of dozen - at least I can afford to replace them regularly :-)

My answer to a washmaidens prayer was a second plastic builders trug and successfully convincing the skipper that it was fun to do the laundry together in the cockpit now the sun is shining!

Trug?? do you mean a Gorilla bucket

I would not like to try my luck using the dog's bollax to hang things on the washing line, so I have ordered two packs of pegs instead :)

Good recommendation as they are on ebay at 2 - 3 times more.

Thanks

While we're on the domestic subject, does anyone have any recommendations for a nice nautical pinny? And maybe a source of floating curlers to match the bimini.
(Note to anyone considering the liveaboard life: think carefully: this is what it can come to.)
