They had the municipal firework display in Oban last night, few thousand quids worth of stuff for a display lasting about half an hour. The whole lot went off in just over half a minute because of a 'technical hitch'. They then told the crowd to go home. The show is on the BBC Scotland News website.
Suspect someone used seconds rather than minutes for their timer but it was spectacular while it lasted and long enough for me.

Whoops! thought I was down in the lounge, had not noticed the lack of fug and smoke.

It has a slightly "speeded up" look to it, but on the whole I thought it seemed quite good. Waiting half an hour for that lot to go off would have been quite tedious.
