This is the name of the white (Bakelite?) bulkhead lights used `60`s boats and I suspect caravans. I have 3 complete with shades which are in reasonable condition and marked Reg. Design 849362 No. 226 B+A (maker?). Available on the same conditions as in previous Post marked RUBBISH (which it turned out to be). I am reluctant to toss them out just in case they are of use to someone- but out they will be going shortly. VITALBA

Bandalasta was a product name for plastics (everything from lamps to tea sets) manufactured by Brookes and Adams (hence B+A). The Reg design and number tally with these.

Thanks Dombuckley, mine re exactly as per your picture. I must admit I hoped research would have shown they were the original three filched from Victory`s Wardroom during a "resiting" exercise brought about because Nelson could not reach the switches. However there they are if any one wants them. VITALBA

Wow! They're quite cool! If Calypso1 falls through I'll have 'em. Not for my boat, which is 1930s, but just because I love them. Consider all requests for a more appropriate use above mine, but if no-one else wants them, I'll have them just because I'm a London tosser!

Calypso 1, postage would be £4.20 so if you agree to put £4 in to the RNLI box and send me a PM with your address I will send them. VITALBA
