Haven't been here or posted for years I don't think. Can't remember why I stopped coming. I think it was because I got sent to a rig where the internet gestapo blocked this site. Hadn't heard about VPN's back then. Anyway am bored at work at the moment, thinking about boating, and remembered this place. I used to be here all the time.
We spent the last 4 summers cruising the Baltic. From Eastbourne ~ Amsterdam ~ Kiel ~ Copenhagen ~ Gotenburg ~ Stockholm ~ Helsinki ~ StPetersburg ~ Tallin ~ Riga ~ Lithuania ~ Gdansk ~ Kiel. Overwintered in Kiel, Stockholm, Riga and lastly back in Kiel for this winter gone.
Quite a bit of work has been done on Petrolia over the winter as the boat was suffering from maintenance deficit. She is being launched on May 13th and we are planning to sail back to Holland. We've decided to stop tearing about all over the place and try a much slower pace for a season or two.
